She Inspires is a social enterprise that provides affordable practical support and advice to not-for-profit organisations. We support organisations to transform, grow and become sustainable.
First and foremost She Inspires supports women in Leicester and Leicestershire to grow their business ideas and dreams, through grants and training.
What makes us different is that all profits generated are then re-invested to provide capacity-building support to women-led organisations in the developing world.
Zinthiya Ganeshpanchan
Zinthiya has over 15 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector, designing and delivering programmes aimed at combating and preventing violence against women and girls and working to alleviate poverty.
Her expertise includes providing leadership training and capacity building support to not-for-profit organisations, in particular women-led organisations in the UK as well as developing countries, designing and developing programmes to prevent gender-based violence in emergencies as well as working on issues relating to Women, Security and Peace.
Zinthiya Ganeshpanchan creates opportunities for open dialogue about women's issues so that everyone has somewhere to turn to.
She said: "Growing up in Sri Lanka I have witnessed the violence women and girls undergo and seen abject poverty and social exclusion. I have witnessed the impact of a prolonged conflict that led to communities being torn apart.
“These have taught me to value humanity, democracy and civil liberties that this country offers that we so often take for granted."
The work she undertakes through her numerous ventures is laying the foundations for a future where women and girls can live fulfilling lives.
