She Inspires is a social enterprise that provides affordable practical support. We support organisations to transform, grow and become sustainable.
First and foremost She Inspires supports women in Leicester and Leicestershire and nationwide to grow their business ideas and dreams, through grants and training.
What makes us different is that all profits generated are then re-invested to provide capacity-building support to women-led organisations in the developing world.
Zinthiya Ganeshpanchan
Zinthiya has over 15 years’ experience delivering start-up and growth support to female-led businesses. Through this work, she has acquired a wealth of experience and, therefore, understands the challenges faced by female founders.
She is a Fellow of the School of Social Enterprise and has been a mentor for the school. She also led the She Inspires Play Box start-up programme that received funding from the Community-led renewal fund in 2021-2022.
In addition, Zinthiya has a wealth of experience in coaching, leadership development, governance and securing finance for growth. In her role as a director for She Inspires, she continues to support startups by providing training and mentoring as well as securing seed funding. She was instrumental in setting up the She Inspire Business Angels group, which is registered with the UKBA.
Over the years, Zinthiya has received many awards, such as BizX CEO of the Year (2023) and the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award at East Midlands Real Entrepreneurs (2023). She was also a finalist in the category of Business Women of the Year 2020 NICHE awards.
"Having run several businesses myself, including a not-for-profit, and supporting many women over the years in the UK and beyond, I am very much aware of the challenges facing women in business. That's what drives me to do the work we do through She Inspires."
